Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Ma-Task platform. Please read them carefully before creating an account.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Ma-Task account or using our platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Ma-Task.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Kenya to use Ma-Task. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. Ma-Task reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscription and Payments
Accessing bidding features requires an active subscription of 99 KES per 30 days, paid via M-Pesa. Subscriptions are non-transferable. Once a subscription is activated and bids have been placed, no refunds will be issued except at Ma-Task's sole discretion. Ma-Task is not liable for failed M-Pesa transactions caused by insufficient balance, wrong PIN, or network issues on the user's end.
5. Tasks and Bids
All tasks posted on Ma-Task are reviewed and approved by our admin team before going live. By placing a bid, you confirm that you have the skills and availability to complete the task if selected. Ma-Task reserves the right to reject, remove, or reassign any task or bid at its discretion without liability.
6. Earnings and Withdrawals
Earnings are credited to your Ma-Task balance after submitted work is approved. Withdrawals are processed to your registered M-Pesa number. Processing times may vary. Ma-Task is not responsible for delays caused by Safaricom or other third-party payment systems.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: • Submit false, misleading, or plagiarised work • Attempt to contact clients outside of Ma-Task to circumvent the platform • Manipulate the bidding process through fake accounts or collusion • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise attack the platform Violations may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any pending balance.
8. Intellectual Property
Work submitted and approved through Ma-Task transfers ownership to the task poster upon payment. You retain no rights to submitted work once payment has been processed.
9. Limitation of Liability
Ma-Task is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee continuous uptime, task availability, or earnings. To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Ma-Task shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Ma-Task after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
